The passable pass for boats at high tide which allows them to return to the sheltered port. This passage shows well the exchanges and conflicts between the river and the sea. For those close to the candomblé, this pass is the encounter between Iemanjá (Goddess of the sea and salt water) and Oxum (God of fresh waters - rivers, springs and lakes), both coming from african beliefs (African deities or orixás originating in Benin span>).
